About Echo Booking
Do no harm. Expand access to care.
We're building the safest, most reliable, and most human AI agent in healthcare. Every line of code, every guardrail, every escalation path is shaped by our mission to do no harm, and to expand access to care.
Two rules guide everything we build: do no harm, and expand access to care. Echo works alongside your existing EHR and phone system, answers in under a second, and is HIPAA-compliant from the first call, so a practice can say yes to every patient who reaches out, in their language, at any hour.
Why this mission
AI in healthcare has to clear a higher bar.
Healthcare is the one place where an AI getting it almost right isn't good enough. A missed symptom, a wrong med name, a hallucinated instruction, a confused elderly patient, any of those are real harm. So we hold Echo to a clinical standard, not a chatbot one. Echo is built to know what it doesn't know, escalate cleanly to a human, and never invent a clinical answer.
At the same time, access is the other half of harm. Patients who can't get through to a practice don't get rescheduled, don't get their refill, don't get their results, don't show up. Voicemails, busy signals, English-only phone trees, and 9-to-5 hours are quiet barriers to care. Echo exists to remove them, so a practice can say yes to every patient who calls, texts, or fills out a form, in their language, at any hour, without overwhelming the team.
That's the whole company in one sentence: do no harm, and expand access to care. Everything else, the EHR integrations, the latency work, the HIPAA infrastructure, the 70+ languages, is downstream of that.
Why we built Echo
The front desk was never the problem. The volume was.
Every healthcare practice runs on the same handful of people at the front desk, and those people are talented, caring, and completely overwhelmed. They can't check in the lobby, verify insurance, and answer a ringing phone at the same time. So calls go to voicemail. Reminders don't get made. Recall lists sit unworked. Patients wait on hold, or give up, and access to care quietly shrinks.
We built Echo because that gap isn't a staffing failure. It's a math problem. There is more communication work than any front desk can physically do. Echo is the AI front desk that absorbs the repetitive, high-volume call, text, email, and form work, so the humans can focus on the patients in the room, and so no patient gets turned away by a phone tree.
Echo works alongside your existing EHR and phone system, answers in under a second, and is HIPAA-compliant from the first call. Safe by design, available to every patient. It's healthcare communication on autopilot, built to do no harm.
Where this is going
Doctors practicing medicine. Everything else, on autopilot.
We think the next decade of healthcare looks very different from the last. Doctors will spend their days doing the work only they can do, seeing patients, making decisions, and practicing medicine, supported by a lean clinical team instead of a sprawling back office.
The front desk, the phones, the inbox, the recall list, the insurance follow-ups, the vendor coordination, all of it runs on its own. The calendar stays full without anyone babysitting it. Patients get answers in seconds, in their language, at any hour. Echo is the first piece of that future.
Doctors do medicine
Clinicians spend their time on care, not on chasing forms or returning voicemails.
The calendar runs itself
Booking, rescheduling, confirmations, and waitlist backfill happen end to end, no front desk required.
Patients always reach someone
Calls, texts, and emails answered in under a second, in 70+ languages, around the clock.
Back office on autopilot
Insurance verification, referrals, and vendor follow-ups run quietly in the background.
What we believe
The safest, most reliable, most human AI agent in healthcare.
Four principles keep us honest about what that means in practice.
Do no harm, by design
Echo is built to know what it doesn't know. It stays inside clinical guardrails, hands off to a human the moment a call needs one, and never improvises a medical answer. Safety isn't a setting, it's the starting point.
Healthcare first, AI second
Echo is built for clinics, not retrofitted from a generic chatbot. Every call flow, every integration, every compliance decision starts from how a healthcare front desk actually works.
Access for every patient
70+ languages, 24/7 availability, sub-second pickup. We measure ourselves on whether the patients who used to fall through the cracks, the after-hours callers, the non-English speakers, the on-hold give-ups, get answered too.
Compliance from day one
HIPAA-compliant calls and texting, encrypted transcripts, and a signed BAA with every customer before launch. Trust is the product.
